This thread roughly highlights why CCP should stop spying on GS forums as part of internal affairs investigations. Most ******* pubbies just do not understand GS culture and are too engaged in seeking moral high grounds to attempt to do so.

And the word for the day children is "rapscallions" .. say it with me now "rapscallions" Now in a sentence "All eve pirates are rapscallions". Excellent work children, no go play.
In all seriousness tho, why would all of eve decend on GS simply for being rapscallions, lol I love that word, when they can't even get motivated to do something about an alliance that has been openly exposed as cheats.
.
Actually all this came to be after the Coalition tried to take on BOB for being cheats (i mean, everyone already hated BOB but this was the last straw - i am talking about the t20-gate), but falling back, eventually getting stagnant into a loss position and THEN, as a consequence, having the Goons deciding that if they are going to lose, then they will try and take down the game from the outside with them, as well.
So we're trying to bring down CCP with one hand yet continuing to pay them $50,000 a month in subscription fees with the other? That makes no sense (because it's completely untrue).
I am afraid one thing does not exclude the other. Specially when it is not 50k per goon but just 15 +/- per month. And when there are many ways to achieve that goal without ever leaving the game, for example, what you all just did some days ago, remember?
You seem to confuse most people's frustration with CCP's complete lack of policies, questionable hiring practice and oh yeah t20 owns part of the company no wonder nothing happened with that, disclosure much with actual distaste for EVE.
People like EVE. Goons like EVE. At this point I, them and plenty of unrelated parties on the forum don't like CCP. That in hot blood, I, them and others would say that we hope CCP goes down is perhaps an expression of how much we love the game and wish they'd stop screwing with it.

That's what I mean. In no way do I approve CCP lack of proper politics, just as you and the rest of the community probably don't. But i also fail to see how a DoS attack, and massive desacreditation based on lies, from only ONE group, would help the situation. Hell, I fail to see how it could not be on purpose to have thousands of people post in different places in just a few hours. No other group of people ingame other than the GOONS did it. What transpired is obvious.
No, it's not obvious just because you say it is, particularly when ele specifically says otherwise. It was an attempt to raise the profile of the issue to the point where CCP had to address it. Whether there was no fire where we saw smoke is largely irrelevant as to intent; at the time things looked bad to us since DS1's initial inquiries about the Sharkbait thing were deleted and buried by CCP without a response.
Exactly. A coordinated attack wouldn't have needed any content about something people were actually concerned about. Motivating the internet to post 1000's of messages about "donges" and "buttes" is hardly a monumental task.

So are you implying that the individual in my signature did not state those comments?
I'm failing to see what part of those comments is incorrect or in fact represents the Goons have an interest in damaging (1) EVE or (2) CCP.
In fact, yet again, it would seem they imply the Goons love EVE, want it to be better and are frustrated with the fact CCP seems more concerned about doing as little as possible while sliding into working on WOD.

Originally by: Thanos Draicon CCP has created a truly unique, ahead-of-its-time game and Goonswarm intends to ruin the company because of their personal beliefs. Combined with their stated motto of having as much fun as possible at the expense of everyone else, I'd say that accounts to ruining EVE. I don't know about you, but I can't think of a company that has been more forthcoming and upfront with their player base - provide an example of a better-handled event similar to this if you disagree. Unless you think that Sony Online Entertainment might do a better job?
I think based on recent actions and choices almost anyone who actually understood the idea of EVE would be able to make it work better. CCP have demonstrated - repeatedly - that they really don't despite "playing on Tranq just so they know how the game is working" which is the biggest load of BS they keep using.

TBH, countdown to the next rant about whatever alliance he quits.
There are two types of people in EVE: those who quit and move on quietly, and those who decide to pronounce to the world about it.
